Beginner Hanji: Ssangbal-ddeugi (2-Nights)

A relaxed, hands-on introduction to traditional Korean papermaking. This two-night workshop invites participants into the tactile and rhythmic process of making hanji using ssangbal-ddeugi, a foundational sheet formation technique.

May 15-17, 2026 (Fri. 6-9:30pm, Sat. & Sun. 10am-5pm)

This intensive offers a rare opportunity to learn Korea's indigenous hanji sheet formation technique, webal-ddeugi. Participants move between vats of different scales, developing an embodied understanding of fiber, water, and motion.
